Ok it's time to get that last journal entry off my profile.

My biggest problem is I am way too ambitous and way too passionate and my ideas always exceed my abilities.

Photography's good that way. It's expensive. You can't go out and buy every lense there is and then start taking fantastic photos using every technique imaginable! You can only afford one at a time.

So I've decided... As soon as I save up for an SLR, and for a lense to go with it, I'll invest in a macro lense!

I only just discovered the macro function on cameras in general maybe 3 years back. I was ever so disappointed when I bought a new camera and it turned out that the macro on it is sh!te. Would you believe, last year's Olympus with 8MP and a 5.2 zoom (I think that's what the figures were) takes worse macro photos than a 1MP 1999 camera? That's luck for ya.

Either way, I can't wait to get my hands on a fancy new camera and start discovering a whole world of detail!!!
