I have babies, yay

I bought two little fishies on the weekend, western pygmy perch ([link]) to join my fighting fish (Frosty Monkey).

One is the dominant tough guy and one is the ditz - just keeps chasing his(?) reflection. They were scared of Frosty at first but are now becoming a little gutsier aroun him. The ditz even snuck up behind him to take a nibble from his tail!!! That was when I decided it was feeding time. The ditz was too scared to eat much for the first few days (as frsoty was always around).

Anyway, I'm just happy about my new native babies Had to share

Edit: Two little fishies no more One was bullying the other so I had to donate him to the fish tank at work where he is very happy with other perch who are much bigger than him! So now he behaves and I get to check on him at work every day

Update2: Ok so buying pets is an addictiona nd I'm guilty of it. I just boughth 4 black neons to add to the tank. They seem to think the perch is one of them and school around him. The whole tank is one big happy family. I'm convinced I will some day buy a bigger tank just so I can buy more fish...
